Astra 4.2.0-beta.1 : Migrations & Backwards Compatibility
Migrations:
Once you update to the latest beta version of Astra, your existing Container Layout options will automatically update to the latest Revamped Container Layout options. Depending on the previous Container Layout settings on your site, the Container Style & Sidebar Style options will also automatically update and be preconfigured. If the options in the Customizer or on the front end of your site do not migrate as expected, please refresh the page multiple times or attempt to clear the cache. If both options fail, please contact us directly by opening a ticket or raising your query on the support forums.
Backwards compatibility:
In terms of Backwards Compatibility, Going forward, The Sidebar will not be supported with the Full-Width Layout for the New Users of Astra. However, the Sidebar will still be backwards compatible and work just as before for Older Users who already have their sites set up with the Full-Width Stretch Layout and the Sidebar.
